🎄 Logistical Reflection: The Christmas Market at Spreespeicher (2022)
The Christmas market at Spreespeicher was a true highlight—both for its festive spirit and the sense of accomplishment it brought. Coordinating this event was a logistical challenge, but seeing our hard work transform the venue into a winter wonderland made it all worthwhile. Watching visitors enjoy the magic and warmth of the season was incredibly rewarding, making every effort feel meaningful.

🐶 National Director, Haiti Street Dog Project (2019)
Driven by a deep love for animals and an unwavering commitment to compassion, I have dedicated my life to transforming the lives of Haiti’s street dogs and the communities around them. As National Director of the Haiti Street Dog Project, I am proud to share that together with my team, we have rescued over 2,000 dogs from the streets, giving them a second chance at life, safety, and love.
Our journey has not always been easy. I have hand-fed countless puppies abandoned by their mothers, bottle-feeding them through long nights and sleepless days. I have ventured into unsafe neighborhoods, sometimes controlled by gangs, just to secure gasoline for our generator—so that we could pump clean water for the dogs who depend on us. These were dangerous times, but also among the most fulfilling of my life. The risks were real, but the reward was seeing hope restored in the eyes of every dog we saved.
Our mission goes beyond rescue. Through our outreach and educational programs, we have engaged with more than 10,000 people, fostering understanding and empathy for dogs. We work tirelessly to reshape perceptions—helping native populations see dogs not as competitors, but as companions deserving of kindness and respect.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have raised over $500,000 in donations, enabling us to expand our rescue operations, provide vital veterinary care, and continue our educational efforts.
